Does anyone know if these magazines are truly pre-ban (9/94)?

It says they're US made but I can't find any reference that verifies there were 25 round magazines made in the use pre-AWB.

Very questionable. There were some very low quality 25 & 30 rnd M-14 mags made before (and after) the AWB, but as to where they're made I don't know/remember. I do know that they were definitely POS! The ONLY 25 rnd M-14/-1A mag I would buy are the ones being made by Checkmate Ind. 44mag.com handles the CMI mags (part # CM-25), but they're out of stock at present.

If you contact the seller of these mags, ask who made them and for close-up pictures of the maker's marking on the body if any. Since he claims they are "in the wrap" also ask for pictures of the markings on the wrapper then ask Bill Ricca if they are issue or fake. If the seller can't name the maker or provide pictures of any markings, I would stay away from these mags. If they are CMI, that is a good price, if not it's an expensive paperweight.

Kyimports regularly advertises in the SGN. All parts are either Chinese AKs or SKS Parts. I'm thinking that's where these were made. dozier
