Sure, shoot it up, save the brass.

No problem shooting it, but I had a couple hyundred rounds of it, and I fired it in two of my M14's and neither one liked the accuracy of it. With my rifles both sighted in dead center with other ammo including hand loads, this LC grouped several inches low and to the left, and the groups were 5"-6" at 100 yards. Let me know how your stuff shoots. Each rifle is different, and yours just might like it.

Depends on how it's been stored, never got soaked or absorbed too much ambient humidity. Probably OK. Like Phil and Sarge said, don't expect it to shoot great. The brass unloaded is worth as much as loaded.

I have a cherished .50 caliber ammo can of loose 7.62x51 Lake City from the mid 60s that I use when sighting in my rifles. I have never had an issue with any of it.
