No detailed reports on this yet.

You could be the first, so we would love a detailed range report if you do get out and shoot this ammo this weekend.

I have been interested in buying some because it is boxer but since no reports have chickened out

There's a couple threads on the Peruvian ammo. It didn't group for me. I've been using it for my off-hand practice ammo. Brass is boxer primed.

I'm curious if anyone's tried reloading this stuff.

I reloaded some of the brass. I used my standard load of 42 grains of 4895 IMR with 125 TNTs. I didn't chronograph them, but they shot as well as my other brass. The brass weighs a little more then surplus. I haven't gotten around to weigh them with water yet.

One problem I had with them, for some reason, I had a hard time resizing the brass. I used a couple of different dies. First I used the Lee die and the cases wouldn't fit in the case gage. Then I tried the RCBS small base die, and it still wouldn't size them completely. I took a third die, adjusted it down some, and then the brass passed the case gage test. I didn't want to adjust the other two dies, as they worked fine on all my other brass.

Ammoman had this stuff on clearance about a month ago, it was $900/2000 rounds delivered. I don't think it was to popular, which is why it was being liquidated. I considered buying some but I hesitated because the few reviews I found were not very positive.

Copes Distributing is also carrying this FAME SAC now, AIM's shipping to the west coast is ridiculus-so us westerners might get a better deal from Copes.....
