Got to see him fly in an airshow in CA in the early 80s. Phenomenal flying!!

He did a show back in the early 70's when I was in Embry Riddle. He used a Aero Commander "Glider" and a P-51. Incredible act.

He used to fly a bright yellow P51 with "Rockwell International" on the sides. Occasionally he would fly an F86 in the airshows. Got to meet him 30+ years ago at an airshow in Cincinati. Great guy and a hell of a pilot. FAA tried to pull his lisence years back and it started such a shitstorm they gave up.
