The Good Old-Old Days

Some pics of a 19 AREFS KC-97G refueling a B-52, 1965. Pics captured from an 8MM movie I took while laying next to the Boom Operator on that mission. Note the SAC stripes and crest on the nose of the B-52.

Wow, it blows my mind that was still have 40-50 year old airframes flying around. Sad thing is it seems to be the newer air frames that are finicky and have the IFE/GE's... haha
