Gunrunnerdave,

To answer your question whether I distinguished and P100.

Yes, I got my badge back in '96, number 1234. Easy for me to remember. I got my badge on my 2nd year of High Power and in 4 total matches, including a LEG match outright win, a Gold medal and 10 points when I legged out at Camp Bullis. And yes I made P100.

I did not shoot High Power when I was active duty, just picked up high power competition shooting at age 43.

Been active duty at Whiteman AFB, MO (home of the B2) for a little over 4 years now. Got about 1 year 3 months left till I go Reserve. Currently AMMO, but dunno if I'll stick with it in the Reserves.

That's awesome! I'm glad to meet a fellow (if not former) AF shooter! We need more good shooters on the team. I was hopeing you would still be able to try out for the team, but oh well! Thanks!

Thank you.

That would have been fun to try out and maybe shoot with the AF team. Good luck to you guys at Perry. Too bad Bill Walter retired, he was always a steady shooter for the AF team.

See you at Perry. I will be shooting a big stick this time. I have done what I personally set to do with the little black gun, now I am learning to shoot this man's rifle. What a difference a few more grains in lead and powder make in the rapids...

Yea, Bill set a team record in Long Range his last trip to Perry with the team. I always look forward to seeing him at Nationals. I won't make Perry this year, because the AF thinks my services are required here in Honduras until the end of August.
