He retired a Colonel, but 'back in the day' he was a Thud-Driving Major flying an F-105F Wild Weasel with the 354th TFS out of Takhli RTAFB. I thought you AF people would like to see a few 'official' mug shots of his days as a 'Yankee Air Pirate'. The closest I can date these shots are end of November, 1967. The last shot is gun camera shot of what probably earned him a Silver Star blowing up during the 18 January 1968 raid on Kep Field. Enjoy!
