Cool video. I got a lot of respect for the Reapers. They saved many lives when i was overseas and killed a lot of dirtbags.

Thanks for posting

The footage I saw was pretty cool, and Reaper definately saved some US lives and put some haji's in the dirt. There was an Army squad working up one side of a canyon (unknown to them, they were being set up by Taliban), and via thermal you could also see Taliban working up the other side of the canyon. Thanks to the intel provided to the squad on the ground, they were able to set up an ambush. Via the footage, the squad stopped and the Taliban cut down, through the canyon and popped up on the US side, expecting to head off the US squad. You could see the Taliban standing there for a priceless few seconds, looking around like "where'd they go?" followed by the Army squad smoking them. Had the Reaper not been in the air providing real-time intel, the Army squad would have certainly been ambushed by the Taliban. So, Reaper is an outstanding tool...

For Cdn Troops on the ground they were given a heads up as to what air assets they had available to call on if they needed. And sometimes we used the Reaper to hunt IED planting teams or track movements. I got to see lots of strikes and assist in finding targets.

I just want to say that I love this video, and I can't wait till my crosstraining date arrives. I get to be a sensor operator on either this or the Predator. Hoping for the Reaper, but either would be really cool to operate.

Good song and excellent weapon. I just wish that they'd been available during Vietnam. They would have come in very handy.
