I'm not completely sure, but I think the 5R Wolfe barrels have only been offered since May of 2014. If that is right, probably darn few barrels have been shot out yet.

I know there's a guy on the forum who frequently posts groups with two of his. I'll see if I can remember who it is.

Tony.

I just shipped out this barrel to be nitrided after initial function testing and barrel break in. What you're looking at are 70 rounds of Federal XM80 ball. The white target was 30 rounds at 50 yards shot in less than 2 minutes (two separate groups with scope corrections). The green target was 40 rounds at 100 yards fired in about 2 minutes.

The rifle is unbedded and the stock is USGI fiberglass.

Here's my M25 with the 5R shooting 50+ rounds at 200 holding sub-MOA.
M25+5R Wolfe barrel+JAE-100= sub-MOA@ 200 yards

Here's a 4.4" ten shot group I shot with my T44/5R nitride at 300 with iron sights.

A little 300yd range time with my T44E4/5R/Nitride match rifle...

I've built at least five rifles with 5R barrels so far and all of them are great shooters. They're cheaper than Kreigers too.

Tony.

Yeah I couldn't remember if it was you or phil so I just made a thread and figured the right person would see it in a few days. I seem to remember that you got fairly good velocity out of it too which is a plus. My factory barrel has lost about 100fps over the last 3-4 years.
