Aretha Sings.......Range Report

Aretha, M1A Super Match
100 yds.
FGMM

Pic 1. Bench

Pic 2. Rapid Sitting

Pic 3. Rapid Prone

Pic 4. Slow Prone, Only did 10 rounds. I spent enough $$ today.

My off hand targets never seem to make it home from the range.........

Trying to establish the base line. The rifle is incredible. It's obvious what I need to work on.........

Fine shooting rifle! I almost bought it. I'm glad it stayed in the family!

There's no recoil at all with all of that mass.
It makes my Loaded feel like a toy.

Groups nice. Interesting how the various shooting positions account for a change in zero.
Bench about 0.5" low.
Slow prone about 1.0" high and 0.5" right.
Fast prone about 1.3" high and 0.7" left, but a better group than the slow prone.
Who say's shootin' fast and having fun can't work?
Cheers

ColdWar, just how much fun would it be if you shot dime sized 10 rounders all the time? It is the constent improvement that is the joy of these rifles.

I always do better in the rapids, like the rhythm. Slow prone is a downward curving arc, and offhand is a disaster unto itself.
