What came first the chicken or the egg. M852 is Military Match ammo with a 168SMK bullet. FGMM is the civilian copy using the same 168SMK bullet, the only physical difference between them is the FGMM uses a larger commercial case and its powder charge is adjusted too meet the same pressure/velocity.

Tony.
Bunch of AR10/Bolt gun builders using that reamer or variations of it right now, that's what one of my bolt guns was chambered with and it shot great without being stupid picky or tight in the neck.

when i wanted a m1a there were many choices.
i chose a standard. not even a loaded just a standard.
my reasoning was i did not want a match chamber.
plan was to just shoot cheap surplus ammo thru it.
sadly that dried up fast right after i bought rifle.
so i wanted a chamber that was loose. to feed most
any ammo. we all have a different reason to choose
what chamber we would want.

ps.. i wanted the standard twist rate rifling also for mil surplus.

Thanks from tonyben
