I was somewhat expecting to find this here:

Here's to hoping everyone's snow clears up soon!

nf1e, is that what your range looks like now? I have two foot of snow and the temp is 18! Can't get to the target stands to put up targets. Guess I should have left the steel plates up. When that finger itches, it must be scratched!

Thanks from nf1e

Yes if that is what your range looks like? I say shoot. Temperatures are dropping to -10 here

I'm ok with shooting in 20 degree weather but anything below 20 your hands get cold to quick and it doesn't become enjoyable.

On another note I'm with you on anticipating some spring trigger time!

Thanks from nf1e

Just the opposite where I am. 3 days ago lows in the 20's highs in 30's, today it is forecasted to be 75 degrees.

nf1e, if I had that range set up in my backyard my ammo cans would be empty quick! Nice setup!

Pretty much. Maybe an inch or two of mush right not, but the temp is 52 so it won't last long.

Don't you have a sled mounted target rig you can snow shoe out with?

Very nice set-up, nf1e! Spring may be just around the corner, but how far away is the corner? We are in the middle of the coldest winter on record since 1990 and have had over 40 inches of snowfall (Nov., Dec., and Jan. to date). I'm taking Capona's advice! Maybe I'll wake up when I feel the sun's rays on my face.

Thanks from nf1e

Hey Dudley,
Is is an out of norm winter there this year?what's going on out there? I was looking to move to Eagle Idaho this summer but I'm having seconds thoughts that winter might be more harsh than I already have here in Illinois.

Thanks from nf1e

Local school gym just collapsed. All schools now closed. Very large local storage building full of RVs just collapsed and was a total loss. Snow piled 4 to 6 feet on the side of the roads and from 5 to 15 feet in the mountain passes. And on and on... Heaviest roof snow load in 25 years. More to come! I'm more than ready for Spring!

I guess all the hot air from the election must have put a lot of moisture into the air :-)

Leon McKee
