TiborasaurusRex

So I have a question. I have viewed some youtube videos of TiborasaurusRex. Specifically on Long Range 101. Does he know what he is talking about? He sounds like he does. But I am not sure. If there are any from the Sniper Community or those who would at least know what they are talking about, that would be great. Thanks a bunch.

I've been watching his vidios also, and he does sound like he knows a thing or two, BUT when he speaks of reticles thats a differant story.
He seems to be quite familiar with that 40 year old obsolite mil-dot reticle.
However when he mentions the new Horus reticle he has no clue.
(I DoNOT work for Horus)
Horus is an excellant reticle and his ignorance in this one instance is unfortunate, but the rest of what he has to say seems good.
I would like to know what his credentials are.
I will continue to follow his vidios hoping to learn a thing or three.

Haven't watched his videos and understand ur concern about the nickname but one of my nicknames is "T-Rex!" as I was born with 3 extra vertebra and an extra set of ribs! In built with all torso and my arms are really f'ing short!

Never realized it till I went to get fitted in bootcamp and the Taylor couldn't find a shirt that fit! Being a boot he didn't explain it to me but when I got my uniforms my sleeves had been shortened so much the cuff had been pleated like a damns curtain! Then I realized why the ole black Tailor kept looking at this Yanky so funny!

Joke on the job is "hey Bernie (or T-Rex) can I borrow a quarter? As I just about have to bend over to reach the bottom of my own pockets!

Sorry for hijacking the thread! Butt it pretty funny and I had to tell!

I just thought of this and it paints quite a color full picture, more for the Adult version of Candid Camera? If your arms are so short and you have too bend over too reach your pockets how do you zip/unzip your fly in the Men's room and reach your tool without falling over? Cough and snatch? I haven't figured how do you zip up without guillotining Mr. Wiggly? Do you gently pull it like a window shade and let go and it springs back or ask the gent in the next stall too help out and lend a hand.........

Sorry, too hear about you handicap.........but I cracked myself up thinking about the show.

If I could ever figure out how to down load pictures on this site I have one that would explain everything!

And it's not a disability as I can honestly say I have to much backbone! And having an extra set of ribs y'all can't blame woman being screwed up as I kept my rib!

Thanks from Phil McGrath

Not from the Sniper Community, but I have found his Sniper 101 videos interesting. Haven't been through ALL 36 HOURS yet, but as mentioned before, don't take everything he says as gospel. He does present a lot of information and at times he can drag on, as he tends to repeat things many times, but all one has to do is skip ahead a bit.

You see years ago LT General Anré Charound got into a spat with his overweight wife of 30 years. She clobbered him over the head with a rolling pin which usually puts him right to sleep, but it was Christmas and all the cinnamon tea kept him conscious.

As he lay there staring at their Christmas tree, praying he doesn't have another hematoma, the idea came to him about a modern scope reticle. They sell that very same design minus the feature that allows you to range down or uphill (which required trying a string to the scope and dangling the rifle as you look at your target downhill).

I have found snipers hide to have a lot of info but I bet you know about that.

I've watched a lot of this guys videos and honestly, I think he does the silly name thing because he doesn't take himself too seriously. Guy's an super polite, evangelical Christian who has served US military I some kinda capacity behind a gun & recieved some kind of sniper / long range training.

Not sure how to gauge his vids against any other except he seems to have access to all kinds of high dollar gear and shoots at some ridiculous distances.

There's one where they hit a beer can at 1,200 ish yards.

He knows more than I do that's for sure....

Thanks from 4Quangs
