| Good Ballistics Software?
Hey, I'm looking for a good ballistics software to try out. What do you guys use? Do you like it?
Also, despite my youth I'm not very computer literate. I need something I can figure out. |

QuickLOAD does internal ballistics, chamber pressure, muzzled velocity, burn efficiency, things like that. It helps identify alternative powders using a standard that you choose (muzzle velocity, pressure, etc).
This is a snapshot of the computer display
QuickTARGET is the other package that they have and it predicts external ballistics, the screen shots displays the menus that you can use to choose from. |

Shooter for Android is well worth the $10 they ask for it. It will even calculate data realtime based on your gps position, barometric pressure, temperature and has the option to attach a wind gauge via Bluetooth.

The next step with is something like a M60A3 or M1A1 ballistic computer in a micro version. It would provide bullet drop from a laser range finder, measure wind, & heat and humidity. If we had that our accuracy would go up dramatically. Since this theory would be real-time, it should work well.
Since this doesn't exist, how about some engineers on the forum come up with one.

BORS sounds cool but at 1300+ it sure is expensive.

Speaking of bad luck, I was on a rabbit hunt today with my M1A, First rabbit i'd see this morning, HUGE jack and he was about 150yards away. I was following him along in the scope when he finally stopped. *click* F#%@!!!!!!
